WOW!!!!  One word that describes the fishing action over the last week and 1/2.  The warmer than normal temps have kept the bait sized Spot in our area in great numbers and the Rockfish from 18 inches the 37 inches are eating them up!!!  The live lining is as good as it gets right now and with warm temps foretasted for the end of this month, the live lining bite should stay red hot for another week or two.  The white perch bite has also gotten pretty good.  These tasty bottom dwellers are good fun on light tackle.  Here is a list of dates available for some awesome light tackle fishing…………..

The first two weeks of this month have showcased some excellent live lining for Rockfish and Bluefish.  The Rockfish we are now catching range in size from 18 inches to the mid 30 inch mark.  The Bluefish are between 1 and 5 pounds in size.  The larger Rockfish (over 28 inches) are not biting every trip, but the rockfish bite has been excellent, with lots of action and limits filled on every trip.  The bottom fishing close to home has been very good for bait sized spot, with  a few keeper sized spot, croaker, and white perch every trip.  The red hot live lining action should continue for the next two weeks, before we switch up to trolling for the fall Trophies.   Sometime over the first week of November the Fall Trophies will be in our area, and we will be catching Stripers from 20 lbs to over 50 lbs everyday.  Below, I have listed dates available for the rest of October and also dates available for the fall trophy run.

Also, don’t forget for the month of January and February, Capt. Greg will be running his other boat FIN FINDER out of VA Beach targeting the winter trophies.  We offer a special two day package deal which includes the following………….

two charters on back to back days,  two nights stay at the Days Inn,  tip for the mate, and fish cleaning.  All of this for just $375 per person for 6 passengers.
